Question by lol: what can you do if you have kidney cancer? ( I don’t have it)?
What do you do for prevention?

Best answer:

Answer by SteveA8
It depends on what stage it is at. If it has not mestatisized, a nephrectomy can be done to remove the tumor. This can be done laproscopically or open surgery. Also, you could have the tumor ablated with RF ablation or cryo ablation if it’s small enough. If it has mestastisized, you can get a bone marrow transplant if you have a matching donor. You can get Alpha Interferon and IL therapy. You can take any of 3 angio genesis inhibitors, possibly more, some are in trial, but 3 have been approved by the FDA. You can have the blood supply embolized.

For prevention, don’t smoke, keep your weight from getting too high, don’t be exposed to too much heavy metals. None of these is preventative, but will lower your risk.

What do you think? Answer below!

Question by : Have you heard of CSA Test (Cervical Specific Antigen)?
There’s a new blood test – it’s called the CSA Test (Cervical Specific Antigen) – it was patented in around 2004 – unlike the unreliable pap smear – this simple blood test is almost 100% accurate…
The pap smear should be a thing of the past and the only women reporting for colposcopy and biopsies, are likely to have cancer or serious pre-cancer – we won’t continue to harm healthy women.
Pathologists and doctors will be unhappy to see the introduction of this blood test – it will mean the loss of the lucrative pap smear and follow-up “industry”…
Men rejected rectal exams and got a blood test very quickly – I suspect women will have to wait years to get access…unless you fight for it.
Information is found on the Cervius and Onconix websites.
The women worried about not having routine gyn exams – STOP WORRYING – the medical literature and research is on your side – asymptomatic women do not need routine invasive exams and tests.
Also, it’s YOUR decision whether you participate in cancer screening.
Stop living in fear – make informed decisions and look after your health, mind and body.”
-Did you know that 1000 women need regular pap smears for 35 years to save ONE woman from cervical cancer? (Dr Angela Raffles research)

-Did you know that 78% of women who have regular screening will have a colposcopy, with only a tiny number having malignancy? (L. Koutsky, Cancer Prevention)

-The only exam required for the Pill is a blood pressure check – some women are forced to have full and invasive exams to get birth control – it’s disgraceful to put this hurdle in front of women.

“This is about power, control and making money – lots of it…
The medical profession has a long history of disrespect
and abuse of women.
After I did my own research 30 years ago, I refused to have pap smears. I know lots of women who have been harmed and traumatized by false positives and unnecessary colposcopy/biopsies…

Ok, so after researching the pap test – having never had one I am pressured by friends and family to get one ASAP – I have stumbled upon this information. Re. the CSA test, I just need to know how to get the test done.

Question by : Best supplements for humans?
I’ve been doing my research and tweaking my supplements and diet. Unfortunately, as most of you know, the internet is an unwavering guide of mixing nonsense with fact. I’m a student at Purdue for nutrition but I’m only a sophomore so I’m fluent in health yet.

I know already that a multivitamin containing the standard “must have” vitamins (A, C, etc.. plus Zinc and all that) is a must. I also know that green tea extract (I prefer to drink actual green tea because i enjoy the flavor and aroma) and omega 3 is an absolute must. I’m having trouble deciding what else to add into my daily supplements.

Let me give you some further information on who I am and what I want:

I do workout 6 days a week. All are high intensity and 3 out of six days include weights. I have an EXTREMELY active metabolism (one that I can eat anything and still lose weight). I’m 21 years old. I have a slender build. Diabetes runs in my family (no threat to myself as of yet) as does obesity (again, with my active lifestyle there’s no threat of obesity to me YET).

I’m not looking for supplements to complement my workout as those are a dime a dozen and I’ll get a thousand different answers all arguing against each other. I have forgotten more about exercise supplements then most people will ever learn. The supplements I want and take promote longevity and health. I repeat, they promote longevity and health. What does this mean?

The supplements I incorporate into my daily life should promote a long and active lifestyle (ie should promote a highly functioning metabolism, alertness, mental stability in all its form [memory, reactions, etc...], bone and muscle health, etc…). These supplements should also promote general health and regulation (ie gastrointestinal health and regulation, cardiovascular health and regulation, nervous health and regulation, etc…) as well as preventative measures (ie cancer prevention, anxiety prevention, depression prevention, fatigue prevention, etc…).

This isn’t so much as a matter of opinion as it is a question of what has worked for everyone else. I’m looking for everyone’s input who has a source to site. Please try and site a source so I know what I could potentially be putting in my body. I appreciate everyone’s answer.

Thank you
Again, I’m NOT LOOKING TO LOSE WEIGHT OR BUILD MUSCLE…I got that on lockdown.

Answer by Kieran
You say you’re workout quite intensely 6 days per week so I would certainly include a high quality isolate whey protein for the growth and repair of you’re muscles. Also, I would recommend taking a multivitamin a few time per day.

Question by lakeside463: Is it possible to have permanent pain after only 3 chemo treatments?
I had stage 1 Ovarian Cancer last summer. It was removed and fully contained, no spreading. Opted to have elective chemo for prevention. Only had 3 treatments, however the 2 meds I were given had side effects of pain and hair loss. When I go for my checkups the doctor says “it is not from the chemo”. But I KNOW that I did NOT feel like this BEFORE the chemo. It is deep nerve and joint pain all over my body. Possibly Fibromyalgia? My one elbow has horrible tendinitis and the lower arm, wrist and hand of the side I use are affected. Almost like carpal tunnel, but I don’t work and other than being on the computer for fun, don’t use my wrists excessively? PLEASE RESPOND, thankyou :)

As you have had ovarian cancer, I feel it is safe to assume you have now artificially reached early menopause.

Because of this you will no longer be producing certain hormones.

This can lead to some arthritic like pain that usually manifests itself later.

Try discussing it from this angle with your Dr. It is not a direct side effect of the chemo, but could be an indirect one from your combined cancer and treatments.

Question by Awakened: Only girls! Is it acceptable to you?
What’s your idea about Seminophagia?

Health benefits
Antidepressant: Semen is a powerful organic antidepressant [6] because of its content of mood-enhancing hormones such as epinephrine,[7] dopamine, oxytocin and serotonin,[4] and it has thus been called “Nature’s Prozac.”[8][9][10]
Cancer prevention: There are at least two published studies with findings indicating that regular semen exposure (i.e., three times a week or more) both prevents and fights cancer, particularly breast cancer,[11] reducing risk by “not less than 50 percent.”[12][13] This effect is attributed to its glycoprotein and selenium content,[14] with apoptosis being induced by TGF-Beta. These studies involved vaginal sex, however, the gastrointestinal tract is much more conducive to facilitate nutrient absorption than either the vagina or the rectum.[15]
Musculoskeletal support: Seminophagia provides the body with testosterone, which is important to maintain muscle and bone strength. While women need a smaller proportion of testosterone than men, it is just as important to female health as it is to male.[16] Testosterone reduces the risk of heart attack, protects against stroke, and can even treat diabetes.[17] Testosterone is particularly important after menopause. When testosterone levels in the blood increase in testosterone-deficient women, bone density usually improves, and women generally report that they feel better.[16]
Preeclampsia prevention: Seminophagia’s greatest benefit may be the fact that semen contains a substance which conditions a mother’s immune system to accept the “foreign” proteins found in sperm as well as the resulting fetus and placenta, keeping blood pressure low and thereby reducing the risk of preeclampsia. Regular exposure to the baby’s father’s semen, especially orally, may help make a woman’s pregnancy safer and more successful, because she is absorbing her partner’s antigens.[18]

Question by : can someone translate this to english UK?
Spinach
Bones
One cup of boiled spinach provides over 1000% of the RDA of vitamin K that can prevent excess activation of osteoclasts (the cells that break down bones), as well as promote the synthesis of osteocalcin, the protein that is essential for maintaining the strength and density of our bones.

Skin
The high amount of vitamin A in spinach also promotes healthy skin by allowing for proper moisture retention in the epidermis, thus fighting psoriasis, keratinization, acne and even wrinkles

And this too :
Ginger
Morning Sickness
A review of several studies has concluded that ginger is just as effective as vitamin B6 in the treatment of morning sickness.

Colon Cancer Prevention
A study at the University of Minnesota found that ginger may slow the growth of colorectal cancer cells.

Cloves
Cancer
Researchers have suggested that the cloves can effectively prevent lung cancer as well as skin cancer. Eugenol, an essential component found in cloves, helps in minimizing the harmful effects of environmental wastes that can cause cancer of digestive system.
Cloves are used for treating a number of health conditions such as malaria, cholera, scabies in the tropical Asian countries.
The clove oil makes an excellent natural mosquito repellent as well as moth repellent and can protect against mosquitoes for 4-5 hours.

Though possibly written in the USA (from the references to Minnesota), that treatise is easily understandable to a Briton, and does not contain any ‘Americanisms’ that would need explaining to an average Briton in the UK.

If you have no inkling what the general idea of the treatise is about then you have been studying the wrong subject, or not paying attention in class.

Question by Rudy: Did you know this about men?
A man’s sprem is good for a woman.

In addition to its central role in reproduction, various scientific findings indicate that semen has certain beneficial effects on human health, both proven benefits and possible benefits:

Antidepressant: One study suggested that vaginal absorption of semen could act as an antidepressant in women; the study compared two groups of women, one of which used condoms and the other did not.[4]
Cancer prevention: Studies suggest that seminal plasma both prevents and fights cancer, particularly breast cancer,[5] reducing risk by “not less than 50 percent.”[6][7] This effect is attributed to its glycoprotein and selenium content, with apoptosis being induced by TGF-Beta. A related urban legend parodied these findings and claimed that performing fellatio at least three times a week reduced the risk of breast cancer.[8]

Semen has been proven to act as a strong antidepressant in women so that women physically exposed to semen are less likely to suffer from depression. It is thought that the psychological effects of semen are a result of its complex chemical make-up including several mood-altering hormones (testosterone, oestrogen, follicle-stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, prolactin and several different prostaglandins). In a scientific survey of 293 college women it was also found that those who did not use condoms were most likely to initiate sex and to seek out new partners as soon as a relationship ended, suggesting that the chemical dependency to semen creates a “rebound effect”. The effect of semen on a male sexual partner (a receiver of semen) is not known.[14][15][16]

Preeclampsia prevention: It has been hypothesized that substances in semen condition a mother’s immune system to accept the “foreign” proteins found in sperm as well as the resulting fetus and placenta, keeping blood pressure low and thereby reducing the risk of preeclampsia. Regular exposure to the baby’s father’s semen, especially orally, may help make a woman’s pregnancy safer and more successful, because she is absorbing her partner’s antigens.[9]

Question by ♫Jayel is 3♫: What do you ladies think about this?
My sis is traing to be a nurse and she lent me one of her course works books to read i found this paragraph and thought it to be intresting:

THE HEALTH BEBFITS OF CUM VIA SPERMOPHAGIA (indegestion of sperm)

Cancer prevention: Studies suggest that seminal plasma both prevents and fights cancer, particularly breast cancer,[1] reducing risk by “not less than 50 percent.”[2][3] This effect is attributed to its glycoprotein and selenium content, with apoptosis being induced by TGF-Beta. A related urban legend parodied these findings and claimed that performing fellatio at least three times a week reduced the risk of breast cancer.[4]

Regular exposure to the baby’s father’s semen, especially orally, may help make a woman’s pregnancy safer and more successful, because she is absorbing her partner’s antigens.[5]

Medical knowledge about the beneficial health effects of ingesting semen has been slow to increase. As late as 1976, doctors were advising women in the eighth and ninth months of pregnancy not to swallow semen lest it induce premature labor,[6] even though it is now known to be not only safe, but beneficial.

Because of its hormone and mineral content, semen ingestion has several other areas of potential health benefits which have not yet been fully researched. These areas include its antidepressant properties (epinephrine, dopamine) and musculoskeletal support (testosterone

What do you think ladies??

I for 1 dont care about the benefits i am not swallowing!!
